Midwesterner migrated to Austin, Texas.
On a lifelong quest to find and share "truth." All the while realizing, to quote Socrates, that "I know that I know nothing." Which has taught and continues to teach me to live in the moment.
It is through this journey of discovery, that I make my work, in an attempt to share my findings, challenge the viewers, and create conversations which hopefully lead them down a path of enlightenment themselves.
Be it through a painting, a sculpture, a film, a word or an action my work focuses on human nature. Social, cultural or political, it all comes down to relationships. Relationships with one's self, with your neighbor, with your environment or observing a relationship from afar, and interpreting that into a medium that I can then convey to an audience.
